I got this for my little hamster to clean her cage and not worry about losing her. She tends to like it in the ball, and I try not to have her in there for too long. I still haven’t been able to hold my hamster yet, so I got this for her.

Our little Nibbles loves his new loft. The ones in the stores are just too small. Good quality and easy to connect to existing tubes.

I was a little confused upon purchasing because I only have this item and wasn’t sure what the locking bit was for! Of course after research I learned that there can be attachments on this!I bought it sort of as a carrier for when i transport my little guy from enclosure to playpen when i clean or vet trips !My only recommendation is having a way to keep the container from almost trying to 360 while youre holding it without having to have an additional bubble attachment!

Some of the parts are a bit wobbly, which is annoying but they don’t seem to pop off very easily. Luckily the main part snaps shut snugly. This is a good TEMPORARY TRAVEL CARRIER for SHORT TERM travel for a Dwarf hybrid hamster. There’s enough space for some adequate inches of bedding. Ok ventilation holes. This should not be the only habitat space. Please do not use this plus a tiny cage or maze contraption as your hamster’s only habitat space. Dwarfs need a minimum of 450 square inches of unbroken floor space (not habitats connected together), 6+ inches of bedding, and a 6.5+ inch wheel. Syrians (aka fancy, teddy bear, etc) need even larger. Please do your research. You can buy a large 200 qt/50 gallon storage bin for cheap and turn that into a bin cage. Do your research.

First off, I did crack the plastic trying to put it together . It isn’t the most durable . It’s also quite small. Maybe fine for a dwarf hamster, but definitely not gonna be comfortable for a Syrian . Also my hamster was pushing on the end caps and I was super worried she would be able to pop them off and escape . I wouldn’t buy it again, but it’s not horrible .

Great carrier BUT keep a pet dwarf hamster in a stable environment with a temperature around 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything above or below could seriously injure or kill your pet.

I absolutely love this product! It looks like a pokeball and it’s such a fun design that actually functions really well. All the pieces are smooth, hamster-friendly, and easy to operate. It was a little hard to assemble at first, but after reading through the directions a couple times and looking at the pictures, I was able to put it all together and it looks great.Rather than using it as a carrier (which I’m sure it would function great as), I put sand in it and my dwarf hamster, Nugget, enjoys taking sand baths, digging, and sitting in it. It has good ventilation, but also contains most of the sand bits. It’s lovely!
