    Update after a few days of use:Comparing this cage with others, the benefit is obvious — it’s 360 degree visible from out side and thinking from hamster’s perspective, maybe it would feel less like in a cage/jail, hopefully.The biggest problem is lack of fastening of the structure, which makes it so easily squeaking when hamster running in their wheel inside (source of trembling no matter what dampening material you put under the cage.) However, it turned out it isn’t hard to suppress the noise — just put some heavy book on the top of the cage, and also use packing tape to tape each and every edges.Seller contacted me and heard my stories and modifications to the cage. Hope they will improve on the user voice in the future. Seller offered full refund at first but I declined and we settled at a more reasonable refund amount for the reason the cage I received had a long scratch on the bottom basin.I’m updating my review of this cage to 3.5 stars.—-I was rendered speechless by the ridiculous design and engineering of this hamster cage. Yes, it’s a good idea to have an acrylic 360 degree clear view hamster cage. But you also need to have a viable design! I am 99% sure this product is from someone who had 0 practical design knowledge.First of all, the package contained 31 bolts and 29 nuts. Guess how many are used? 28 pairs. It made me feel the factory just randomly packed these things. Also, people take a look at this product, do you expect that you need 28 pairs of bolt and nut??? What the hell do you design it this way? If you ever find IKEA product complicated, this simple looking hamster cage can take you 1 hour to assemble and adjust.Secondly, there are 4 square washers that I had no clue what they are for. Absolutely odd to have them.Thirdly, there’s no design consideration for the stability, the top part is built with multiple moving pieces are very loosely connected. No fastening at all! They are going to falling apart any time unless you figure out something else.My gut feeling is the guy who designed this product never attended their science class.Lastly, the one I received is well packaged, however, the bin has a long and noticeable scratches at the bottom, which must happened before packaged. Well, something doesn’t affect the use but really annoying for a $140 premium cage.In the end, I re-read the description and it says 20 patents filed for this product design. I am not sure which part are patented, but I can re-design it in like 10 mins and make it much like professional designed rather than by a hand of a toddler.

    I was looking for a new cage for my dwarf hamster and found this one, I was really undecided at first because it doesn’t have a lot of reviews but I ordered anyways and I think is great, bigger than I thought, takes time to build, but works great, the only thing I didn’t like is that one of the pieces came broken but I don’t have the patience to return so I just decided to build it like that. I highly recommend this product, because it has a lot of room and is cute.

    Highly recommend this cage for anyone looking for a budget friendly option to meet their critters needs. I have a dwarf hamster and this cage is way bigger than his cage minimum size. It was easy to put together and looks like it will be very easy to clean. I love the sleek look and how tall it is. My hamster loves it.

    I was little uncertain about choosing this habitat for my Syrian hamster considering the mixed review, but I’m glad I went ahead and tried it out!My old cage was recommended by a staff from the petstore along with my hamster. Only later I found out hamsters need way more space than cage like that… I wanted some extra space to house my hamster and have lots of space to play. I liked the ample living space and the see through design.

    I can’t figure out why this cage doesn’t have more reviews! It’s almost $50 below the price point of anything similar, and it’s a lovely big cage with more than enough floor space for a Syrian hamster. Putting it together was an absolute nightmare because the instructions is essentially a handful of pictures with small captions under them, so if you need detailed instructions to put something like this together then you’re out of luck. But if you have an engineering degree and/or a gift for putting things together based on photographs, you won’t find a better cage at this price.

    BUYER BEWARE – if you have a pet that chews, all of the nuts and screws that secure the door and locking mechanism are made of the same acrylic that the sides are made of. I noticed this before assembling the entire cage, and returned it right away. I have a hamster who chews incessantly and is an escape artist. This cage is NOT secure for any animal that chews.
