    My hammy iris has been living in a 20 gal aquarium for a little over 2 years. When this arrived at my doorstep – I put it together right away!!!! My cats and fish have gotten upgrades to their living spaces and it was time for me to invest in her. It’s so hard to find a decent hamster cage that isn’t ridiculously small or made out of wood. I have used niteangel accessories before and they have always been high quality. This cage surpassed all expectations. It’s huge. Seems like it will be relatively easy to clean. (Easier than wood). I have already bought additional things for her home that will allow her to explore more and be mentally stimulated. She deserved the enrichment. I did not buy the cage with the front door because the cabinet she is on is short enough for me to reach. This is worth the price in my opinion. Her world doubled and I can already see a change in her demeanor. 🙂

    My Chinese hamster loves this cage. It was easy to assemble and roomy. I love the front door feature. The cage is very well made and quite sturdy. I like having the wheels so I can easily move it around my house. I’m planning on getting another one and stacking.

    This is a good sturdy cage but I could have just bought a forty gallon breeder cheaper. I thought because it is stackable and the video shows that it would come with a front open door

     I got this cool cage as I was getting a baby hedgehog for Christmas and wanted her to have a safe and comfortable home. At first, while assembling the cage, I had reservations about using this cage because it was extremely heavy and didn’t come with the casters for mobility, and reaching in from above was difficult as the enclosure is pretty deep.With a few modifications, I’m elated to have this home for my hedgie now!I started by assembling the cage on the large piece of corrugated cardboard that came with the packing material. That allowed me to slide the enclosure around easily since the bottom construction makes it difficult to slide on carpet. I then deceived to leave off the front glass entirely and instead cut some plexiglass to fit halfway up the front. The plexiglass is flexible enough that I can slightly bend it and remove it entirely so I can sit in front of the enclosure and clean and organize or visit with my hedgie. It also allows me to set up a play area outside her home so she can come and go during play time.I also find the honeycomb shape of the inside of the lid to be useful for adding lights. I bought micro binder clips and threaded fairy lights through the wings then clipped the binder clips to the honeycomb shapes. Worked like a charm.I initially wasn’t sure I liked this enclosure for my hedgie but after my slight modifications, I absolutely LOVE it!!!

     This is one of the best hamster or gerbil cage that I’ve had or seen. It’s easy to put together, beautiful, and strong. I would have a hard time seeing how any gerbil or hamster could get out of this. The wide opening on the top makes the cleaning of this cage simple and easy. There are no wooden parts for an animal to chew on. This is well worth the money. Since these cages are stackable I’m going to go ahead and get another one.
