I had to contact the seller about a replacement. The first time, they sent a plastic base but no lid. The second time, they sent a different base. This one had stairs built in at the bottom and a plastic palm tree for decoration. The lid doesn’t secure well. I got this for transporting feeder mice from the store to home so it doesn’t matter to me, but anything in this for more than twenty minutes is going to get out. Also, it’s not very big. If you’re looking for a terrarium, look elsewhere

Way too small for what I bought it for. I should have returned but missed the deadline. My fault for not reading the size.

This is perfect for meal worms, we have a pet gecko and need a small container to keep meal worms, we added meal worms bedding and it was perfect, very good ventilation

Bullet points at the top of the page indicate package dimensions are 8 x 13 x 11 (assumed to be in inches). Looking further down the page, it states that the product dimensions are 4 x 5 x 7 (again assumed to be in inches). I received a cage that was 6″ Long x 3″ Deep x 4.5′ Tall. This is very confusing. The product info and the dimensions should be up at the top of the page with the bullet points. No one will care what size the package is! I ordered 2 cages and the package was 12″ Long x 6.5″ Deep x 9.2″ Tall–so still not the package dimensions listed at the top of the page. If someone orders 10 cages, the package dimensions would be different. So, this information is not really relevant.

Works for what we needed it for but they sent the wrong color and size

Pay more for one of these. I know, it houses crickets. My kid has a frog, so we bought this, thinking a couple dollars less was a good idea— “how could it be any less effective than the fancier cricket keepers?”Well, they are less effective. Somehow they get out when it’s “closed” and I don’t mean one lucky cricket who escapes. I mean half of the twelve I put in there a few hours earlier. No obvious signs of breakage— just a bad seal.

I was using this to temporarily house mice I’d trapped in a live trap, so I could carry them outside when the weather warmed up. But mousies are clever – one of them managed to jump to the top and start chewing holes in it! I had to transfer the prisoners to a gallon jar with holes punched in the [metal] lid. Maybe just use this for lizards or spiders – or maybe to carry a hamster to the vet – but don’t try to keep rodents in it for very long!

Bought this for my grandsons for bugs and frogs. VERY fragile! Hard to open for kids or adults. Looks like one of the better ones we bought at the pet store, but not even close!
